Teaching Experience

Over the past decade, I have taught university-level studios, seminars, public workshops, and training boot camps on topics such as design computation, architecture, product design, 3D modeling, digital fabrication, computational geometry, and robotics. I've taught at institutions including the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, University of Washington, Tongji University, Shanghai University, and the Shanghai Institute of Visual Art (SIVA).

These experiences have allowed me to refine an inclusive pedagogy as the foundation, centered on three core principles:

  1. Fostering interdisciplinary learning to help students identify valuable research questions.
  2. Encouraging hands-on, project-based exploration to sustain engagement while building skills.
  3. Creating a collaborative environment that promotes initiative, active learning, and teamwork.
